We’re all just kids, making our way through this world the best way we know how. Everything still feels new.
It’s surprising which memories survive.
THE WORLD WIDE WEB

Google captured me on camera! Whilst sitting on my front porch the “google-cam” car drove by and snapped me relaxing in the sun.
Behold:
And here’s a zoom:
The odd thing is, only the angle from that corner is live on Google maps – any other view of the house shows the old, grey-skied photos. Maybe they’ll be forthcoming.
REFLECTIONS

Fourteen months have passed at 3611. Much has changed! I’ve been lax about updating this site, but hopefully this will suffice as an update.
The broccoli thrived! I was able to eat a lot of it but I also let some of it go to seed, it’s so beautiful. And hearty – it’s still out there doing its thing. The nasturtium also thrived, but with the first frost about a week ago it withered up. My squashes miraculously produced fruitage even though the plantstalk was a withered thread. I even got a tiny ghost pumpkin. Brussel sprouts sprouted, but were too small to eat. And the corn made corn, tiny, midget corn that was also inedible. The tomatoes maybe were the real winners. I had bounty after bounty of delicious pear tomatoes. The larger tomatoes never matured in time.
The herbs did well, too, but they’ve since died and gone to herb heaven.
Next spring I think I’ll forget about planting seeds indoors first, and just plant them outside straigh away. But who knows where I will be next spring!

the most amazing thing happened.
I was found.
